Venue - The Vincent Hotel
The Vincent is a new luxury hotel opening on Lord Street June 2008. The six-storey hotel will have 60 contemporary-styled guest studios, residences and suites - all bursting with high-technology. V-Galleria 1 & 2 is the first floor meeting space, equipped with the latest technology and supported by two boardrooms, each to seat up to 12 delegates. The Galleria has a balcony which runs the full length of the building and looks over Lord Street, Southport’s impressive Victorian boulevard. The Vincent Hotel is within walking distance of Southport station. Nearest airports are Liverpool and Manchester. The M58, M57 and M6 are the closest motorways.
Venue - The Southport theatre and Convention Centre
The Southport Theatre and Convention Centre is undergoing a £40million investment programme to increase its overall capacity and to enhance its existing technical specification. It will be opening autumn 2008. It will be on two levels. The Lower Promenade will include the 1600-raked seat Southport Theatre linked by a foyer to the Floral Hall (1000 sm) and the Garden Suite (200 sm). The new Exhibition/Seminar Hall is directly linked to this complex and this comprises a flat floor multi-use space (1000 sm) which can be configured into multiple separate syndicate and private meeting rooms. The Lakeside Suite (400 sm) and a new 130 bedroom 4 star hotel are on the Promenade and Entrance Level.
